last night I was talking with someone who has drifted so far from the Lord this person was telling a story of a friend who has been hurt who has been used and abused by men and how this friend is looking for love in the wrong places and one day she poured out her heart to a man about being in love with him and the man didn't feel the same and then the next day the girl met a man who paid attention to her and told her all the right things that her broken heart wanted to hear. this person I spoke with who was telling this story said their friend didn't know what she wanted and would fall for the first guy who would pay her attention because she was searching for love. while listening I could hear the hurt and pain and I knew this girl was telling a story that s could fully relate to . her pain has been hidden behind a mask of temporary happiness and pleasures . but I could hear by the sound of her voice she was grieved with pain hurt and distress .and she has built her own walls ...

if you have a garden that is neglected and doesn't get watered nor does it get the nourishments it needs that garden dies a shows signs of death not life. likewise spiritually if you're neglecting prayer and being in the word then you're neglecting the source of life and nutrients needed for growth .the Lord does the watering when we do our part and pray and seek His face and that includes being in His word. we cannot enter into the Lords Rest by trying to fight trials temptations & spiritual warfare in our fleshly power & strength . we need to be in prayer for one another not just for our families & friends brothers & sisters in Christ but for the lost the hurting the broken . so many out there in this world right now are lost some are one decision away from taking their life some are drinking to drowned their pain and the biggest threat that is stealing lives is a demonic epidemic called heroin . there are neglected and abused children, domestic disputes . men and woman going from one partner to anothe ... r and thinking they're in love because for the moment to them it feels good feels right they're not truly happy when Jesus saw the multitudes He moved with compassion He saw the sick He saw the demon possessed He saw the Hungry and He moved with compassion. whatsoever we do to the least of these we do unto Him ! when we see the multitudes or just a soul do we just see the sick the lost '' the sinner '' the addict the thug etc.. or do we see a human heart beating in panic search...

Jesus came to give us what we could not accomplish in our own abilities. He came to give us life , it is in and through Christ that we have life more abundantly. more abundantly ? He gave us sufficient Grace and His perfect strength to persevere endure and overcome all through His Name and By the power in His Blood. His example of selfless love laying down His life for us paying a debt that you and I could never pay mercy and Grace we didn't deserve mercy and Grace that we could never earn. washing us in His Blood cleansing us from all unrighteousness clothing us with garments of His righteousness adopting us as sons and daughters .  He gave us power to become children of God. there is this deep longing in all of us to know the Lord more and more to walk closer and closer to Him each waking day, it's overwhelming in a good way because it provokes us to search and examine ourselves sometimes we don't always like what we see when our eyes are enlightened in the mirror of Truth while we examine and so it causes us to weep over our imperfections taking them to the Throne of the Most High God crying out as David did create in me a clean heart . Jesus said blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. sometimes we put so much pressure upon ourselves when we feel we don't measure up and if not careful we can end up abiding in a mind that is not sound sometimes we may panic after failing and ask the Lord fifty times to forgive us for the same thing over and over though we didn't repeat or continue in the sin. and because our heart is heavy from the pressure our own heart begins to condemn us and hold us hostage ...
