The church

the church is a body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ . the body of believers make up God's building whose we are . the building many call church is where the body of believers assembles and first and foremost it's foundation must be Christ alone and the body of believers in assembling must be a house of prayer for the House of God shall be called a house of prayer.  

by design in God's order He gave some Apostles some prophets and some evangelists and some pastors and teachers. and the purpose is found in Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: verse 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

the building called church where we gather is supposed to be equipping the saints for the work of ministry unfortunately many are children in the faith tossed to and fro carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men , and cunning craftiness whereby they lie in wait to deceive .

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. psalms 127:1

Jesus is the head of His church He is The rock upon which He has been building His church no other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ. And this is the church in whom the gates of Hell shall not prevail against .

 there is one body and one spirit one Lord one faith one baptism one God and Father of all who is above all and through all and in you all . ( it is  written in Ephesians 4)
