come let us reason together

'' come let us reason together '' reasoning with people is the Gracious merciful longsuffering side of God's will that none perish but that all come to repentance.  

I was reading recently paul addressed the ones the Lord gave into His hand as his dear children whom he travails in birth again until Christ be formed in them. paul was a spiritual father overseeing the flock that the Lord gave him. there were times what he spoke was not to shame them and then there were times he said this i speak to your shame. to me hearing that would be like hearing think about what you done or what your doing and a loving parent saying go to your room (set apart) 

much of the word of God that offends people is Just good parenting and unfortunately good parenting like this is so absent in this generation that good parenting from our Heavenly Father is often overlooked unrecognized and partly also because you have those kids who say around their friends my parents are mean they never let me do nothing I wish I had your parents .. I have heard plenty of kids say this in life. and i have not in those words heard many babes in Christ say the same when God sends the message hey I want you to let that go now your life is mine . kicking and screaming kids in the faith who are yet carnal and with such we must labor in longsuffering travailing in birth again until Christ be formed in them. 

Though we be children in the faith and come with child like faith we are supposed to grow as men in spiritual maturity yet remaining as children in faith as a child is dependent upon his parents for everything they have need of . looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith.

 a greater depth of longsuffering is needed if we gotta put the training wheels back on the bikes for some in the faith then so shall it be we must know how to speak a word in due season and speak with the tongue of the learned build those up around us in the most Holy faith equipping them for the work of ministry .
