And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. Daniel 7:25-26
shall speak - mouth speaking arrogantly , utter, say, to declare
Most High - Supreme Ruler the Highest God over humanity and other gods.
shall wear out - to afflict wear out in a mental sense
laws - to set up laws in opposition to God the most High supreme ruler. can only do so for a period of time
hand - power by charge handed, strength or power Authority , possession
Dividing of time - a half , production parts of division , to divide , represented results of that action. a single division into two equal parts or halves.
consume - meaning to destroy , to be exterminated, to exterminate people to be extremely annihilated referring to individual people house holds or nations. can also signify devastation of land nd places or to destroy objects such as cities , fortress or idols.
Destroy - have no way to flee, perish closely connected with death, wander away not escape.
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. Daniel 8:23-25
Policy - cunning requiring much intelligence wisdom success knowledge
craft - deceiving fraud, deceit , feigned , guile treachery , intentional misleading , distorting or with holding truth , a false balance
Heart - mind , inner person
peace - security , false abundance , prosperity
princes - like a beast of prey , to seek greedily have appetite justle one against another , long range to and fro.
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Daniel 9:2
would accomplish - confirm , fulfill
desolations - a decayed place, desolate , destruction, laid waste,
The antichrist will promise peace yet by peace destroy many. destroy means ruin or decay. it will be a covenant of deceit promising security he will ruin many
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. Daniel 9:24-27
going forth - the act , an exit , the rising of the sun ( the east )
Restore - return , reestablish , to turn
prince - civil military , or religious captain, chief , governor , leader, noble prince chief ruler
Troublous - distress , anguish, a strait
Times - season, uncertain time
Consummation - complete destruction, full utter end , riddance
and that determined - point sharply to wound, decree , bestir self, maim , move
Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found. Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. Daniel 11:19-24
Deceive - means to seduce wholly beguile
Falling away - means apostasy forsake to depart falling away , something separative divorce
Let no man deceive you by any means : for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 2 Thessalonians 2:3
Perdition - the name represents Judas and the Antichrist man of sin as most irrecoverably and completely devoted to the final apoleia
Apoleia means (1) destroying , utter destruction of vessels (2) a perishing ruin, destruction of money . The destruction which consists of eternal misery in hell.
Perdition also means a person typically embodying a certain trait or character or destiny also means destruction that comes with corruption, destruction surprising people like labor pains coming upon a pregnant woman.
