Patience is a trying path

Patience is a trying path , a road to break all selfishness pride fear and doubt. waters rise opposition comes and it goes . we build up walls and we tear them down just to build again. surrender takes us into a strong tower a true refuge and fortress, the flesh fights and wars wanting to lean upon its own understanding and fight in human strength. Gods Grace is sufficient and His strength is perfected in weakness, we pray and pray, but why stay the same when change is readily available ? oh if we would fall to our knees and really pray and really whole heartedly seek the Face of the Lord He would pour out His spirit.  A touch from the Mighty Hand of God makes all things new, open your heart and let God have it all , some have let Him in but keep Him out of certain areas of their lives . spiritual growth freezes and is hindered when you ignore Gods voice , whatever it is let God take it and have it all. every thing that you have tried to change Only God Almighty can change and transform. the More you know Him the more you will trust in Him, if you would let Him truly lead every area of your life then you would walk in the fullness of His will. there comes a time when you have to take your hands off and let go and let God work . as a kid riding a bike with no hands may have seemed very scary at first even uncomfortable but when you let go and have the right balance you find that you can do it without your hands steering and guiding. try it let go surrender don't use your hands your strength or your understanding let God steer guide and direct your life and then you will find the right balance.

Let the drugs die ! And let the people live !

let the drugs die and let the people live , too many lives have been take captive turned into prisoners of bondage ,some still fighting some no longer here. broken hearts homes and families ripped and torn by this devastation . drugs are no respector of persons they are not racist drugs have a mission from a very real enemy who is out to steal kill and destroy . Annoyed no Im beyond that Im sick o...f seeing the devil killing people with overdose. while drug dealers may be the source of supply the dealers are driven by the devil himself , for the love of money they kill and destroy rip apart and devour families. street level dealers and big dogs from other cities invade and prey on the vulnerable . where did it start we know it was with the doctors handing out un necessary amounts of pain killers , doctors legal drug dealers getting away with death , the court system serves no real justice only punishing the dealer who sold the dope that killed, the doctor as well should be held accountable . doctors were once a trusted physician how did they become so blind, you cant tell me that these doctors cannot tell the difference between patients who are addicted and those who are not. the doctors have betrayed the patients for $$$ turning them into customers . stop and look how many pharmacy's Monroe has . why does such a small town need so many pharmacy's . the system is full of Hypocrites who come off as having compassionate sincere concern, sadly they care more for the dollar . stop building new pharmacy's matter fact fire the drug dealing doctors who have betrayed they're position as a physician and turned patients into customers. close some of these pharmacy's and open more rehabs, give Monroe a real rehab, harbor light is a joke. LET THE DRUGS DIE AND LET THE PEOPLE LIVE. the time to take this epidemic serious is now , from Monroe to the surrounding cities join forces and evict every drug dealer including doctors and open a real rehab to help the addicts.

Love fights

Love swims against the current of life's fears. fear and worry try to paralyze one from moving forward. worry and fear can be hard to let go of sometimes. last night my friend Rob put it like this he said look at it like letting go of the side of the pool when we were little . ya gotta let go before you can know if you can swim without the side holding you . much like our journey now we gotta walk... by faith not by sight. and not let fears and worry hold us back , no matter what the circumstances look like. it may be a challenging journey but its not impossible.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Love doesn't hide it stays and fights it goes the distance thats why love is so strong and carry's you home.

just writing my thoughts today

In life people try to hide things that they are ashamed of . Nothing is ever Hidden from God . in school did you ever have a friend who you really liked and cherished their friendship but when it came to the public in front of popular crowds you tried to hide that friendship maybe not because you were ashamed but because you just didn't want the drama? part of standing up is part of being loyal an...d taking the heat fighting through the opposition and continuing to move forward. I remember getting in fights in school defending those who were mistreated. still to this day I will defend those who are mistreated or judged by outward appearance . only thing different is Im saved and my fight doesn't result in throwing punches. stand up for your friends and never be ashamed

If silence could speak

If silence could speak people would hear too much and say that's Heavy, how do you bare so much . silence does speak but a busy world cannot hear , nor can a busy world see . does a busy world care ? yeah selfishly centered on self for selfish gain. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? The commission was to Go many forgot. feet that don't move , hands that don't reach ears that wont hear eyes that cannot see.

to be continued

Grace

many tend to have a one sided view of Grace. most would say Grace covers when we repent confess and forsake sin, and Grace brings us to Justification, when we are Justified we are made right in the sight of God we become so clean by His work that its just as if we never sinned. here is the view most don't acknowledge, Grace is a powerful thing, Grace empowers us to be more than conquerors Grace em...powers us to be overcomers Grace empowers us to be selfless Grace empowers us to persevere and endure and depart from ungodliness. Grace empowers us to do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Grace empowers us to be christlike and walk in obedience and Grace empowers us to resist the devil and be strong enough to resist temptation. and its for this reason Paul said receive not the Grace of God in vain. are we yet perfected ? no we are more flawed than we confess. it was for this reason paul said I press toward the mark for the prize of the High calling of God in Christ Jesus. our pursuit should be forward the path straight and narrow, we should have fruit that reveals evidence of Growth there should be progress in our growth. when we put off the old man and put on Christ we put on the garment of His righteousness. Job who was more upright than you and I both repented in dust and ashes. think for a second here when you first came to Christ did you repent with perfect repentance ? no none of us did ! 2 peter 3:18 instructs us to grow in Grace and in the KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST TO HIM BE GLORY BOTH NOW AND FOREVER AMEN ! Growing in Grace doesn't mean continuing in sin aka habitually practicing a lifestyle of sin but rather overcoming by the blood of the Lamb. Growing in Grace doesn't mean that we wont fall short because we will, growing in Grace should evidence growing in repentance resulting in separation of sin and pursuing Holiness in Christ alone . your deceived if you think that you are already perfected and live a perfect life.

Encouragement

Lamentations 3:21-25) 21 This I recall to my mind,
therefore have I hope.
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness.
24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him.
25 The Lord is good unto them that wait for him,
to the soul that seeketh him.

Matthew 11:28-30) 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

1 Peter 5:7 casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you

Matthew 6:24-34) 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Proverbs 3:5-10)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones.
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 so shall thy barns be filled with plenty,
and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jeremiah 17:5-8) 5 Thus saith the Lord;
Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,
and maketh flesh his arm,
and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert,
and shall not see when good cometh;
but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
in a salt land and not inhabited.
7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man.

Ecclesiastes 7:14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after Him.

Philippians 4:11-12 ) 11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Luke 12:15 And He said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Luke 12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.

1 Timothy 6:6-12) 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

It amazes me shocks me and blows my mind,

It amazes me shocks me and blows my mind, how people so quickly stand and shout for they're favorite team, but their praise for the KING OF kings is silent,empty, hearts far from HIM, hearts closer to they're team, more passion in pursuit of supporting and standing by that team, more excitement in a game, then they find in the Living word of God. stand and shout yelling go, go, come on to a tv, a ...idol that never answers back , a idol that never helps in time of need, a idol that cannot save or fulfill. reject Jesus and His perfect sacrifice acknowledge His Blood was spilled, but they embrace things, empty dreams this ought not be. no time for God or little time for God, yet HE gave His all . they make time for the god that they make supreme They're favorite team. isn't it strange that their team loses, fails them and lets them down but yet they always stand with that team support them cheer them talk to them and never let go of they're team but yet if God doesn't answer a prayer as quick as they want or provide their greeds or do what they want God to do when they want Him to do it, they get mad at God and forsake Him, never to speak to Him again or think of Him again until things get really hard. but yet still they stand with a screen cheering for a team. oh when the end of all things comes to where will they run ? to a screen, a team, a empty endzone looking for a touchdown of Grace to save them from the Judgement that awaits when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. do you think you can wait until you stand before the Judgement seat of Christ to get right? be not deceived you'll be cast out of His sight to reap everlasting punishment. today is the day of salvation life is like a vapor. answer the call and repent before its too late

The word of God

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old...
