NEW MESSAGE WORK IN PROGRESS

                                                     GENESIS 19:22-30)
22 Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
27 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:
28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

ISAIAH 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

ISAIAH 1:10  Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

only through Christ

Paul learned the struggle of trying to please God through the flesh
THE STRUGGLE OF TRYING IN THE FLESH
Romans 7:14-25) 14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

ROMANS 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

JOHN 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

ONLY THROUGH CHRIST

when we submit to the Righteousness of God by Faith, then we can stop trying to produce our own righteousness. No flesh shall Glory in His presence. no work of the flesh no self efforts. we will wear ourselves out trying to do things in our own strength. only through Christ can we overcome sin

EPHESIANS 2:8-10)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

we are saved by Grace through Faith, Christ alone , Not of works, lest any man should boast. not of works of our self righteousness not of works of our strength or ability , CHRIST ALONE. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Again here we see not our self righteous works, CHRIST ALONE ONLY THROUGH CHRIST. we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. only through Christ, paul learned that he needed to be crucified with Christ.
GALATIANS 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

And I believe we all have struggled with trying to produce good works through our flesh our efforts and our strength and ability. we are not capable in our own strength. only Through Christ

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

ZECHARIAH 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.

PHILIPPIANS 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

created in Christ Jesus unto good works  which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. only through Christ.

It's important that we not only hear this message but that it will take root in our hearts only Through Christ. we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. only through Christ.

through Christ alone will we walk in good works, no flesh no self efforts

JOHN 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

JOHN 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me.

THROUGH CHRIST ALONE. We must come to the end of ourselves and acknowledge we can do nothing without Him and submit to the Righteousness of God by Faith. when we stop trying in the flesh to produce good works Then He will work in you and through you For His Name's sake For the purpose of His Glory.

obedience will come through Christ alone . He call us to abide in Him and His word  He said if you love Me keep My commandments that is hard to do when walking in the flesh.  through Christ alone
if we try any other way we will fail and fall. it is the Holy spirit who quickens us

Following His steps

2 CORINTHIANS 5:15 And that He died for all that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves. but unto Him which died for them and rose again.

1 PETER  2:21 For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that we should follow His steps.

1 JOHN 3:16 Hereby perceive we the Love of God, because He laid down His Life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the Brethern.

ROMANS 6:3-4) 3 Know you not that so many as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His Death? 4 Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as  Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.

ROMANS 6:10-11) 10 For in that He died unto sin: but in that He lives, He lives unto God. 11 Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

GALATIANS 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the Faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

1 PETER 4:1-2) 1 Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

MATTHEW 20:25-28) 25 But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

LUKE 22:24-27) 24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. 25 And He said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve
27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

GALATIANS 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

blind guides of the Gospel - false teachers

1 Samuel 15:23-24) 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He has also rejected you from being King. 24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and your words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

JEREMIAH 23:16-22) 16 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord. 17 They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you. 18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it? 19 Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. 20 The anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly. 21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. 22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

2 TIMOTHY 4:3-4) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound Doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers having itching ears. 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the Truth.

Matthew 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted and I should heal them.

Today in churches their are false prophets in pulpits devouring God's flock

Today in churches their are cowardly men in the pulpit that fear the people

Today in churches selfcalled preacher's have invaded the pulpit

Churches have used entertaiment to seduce crowds

in the Book of ACTS The Lord added to the church daily, they didnt need entertainment to draw and seduce crowds. they Boldly preached the Truth that pierced hearts and brought people to a point of decision.

Most churches today are a den of thieves making merchandise of the people.

Pastor's today refuse to confront sin, they away from the True message of Repentance
and have turned it into this repeat this prayer after me and after the person repeats the prayer
pastors say your saved now God has great plans for you , heres a form to join membership of our church.

They teach nothing of turning away from sin, and they pervert Grace into a licsence to sin
They water down the Truth of God's word  which results in false conversions

Many pastor's stand in the pulpit having bloody hands because they refuse to preach the Truth.

They mistakenly measure success by numbering the people, and having alot of pointless powerless religious activities.

Pastor's have forsaken the Great commission to follow because they lust after their own visions.

2 PETER 2:1-3) 1 But there were false prophets also among the people even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them and bring upon themselves destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of Truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgement now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

2 PETER 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those who were clean escaped them who live in error.

JUDE 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead plucked up by the roots.

JUDE 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

2 TIMOTHY 3:1-5) 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

TITUS 1:16 They profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient and unto every good work reprobate.

Many pastor's today are using the Name Jesus for their own personal gain.
They tickle the ear's of their hearer's and flatter their congergation with nice comforting words
tell you how blessed your gonna be speaking lies to the people while they get richer
and the people get more and more spiritualy bankrupt .

The false teacher's  are devouring the people and dont even realize whats going on.
their congergations are blinded by lies and flattery words. the people are decieved into believing they are on a path to Salvation when really they are walking the path of damnation.

Gods word says My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6)

Many pastor's false teacher's and false prophets have a outward form of Godliness
they appear to be loving and compassionates they appear to Love the Lord and can quote scriptures really good. but a false prophet and compromised teacher will never confront the sin in the lives of people because they are decieved and continue to live a sinfilled life.

people who claim to be christian are living unaware that God hates sin and that God is going to Judge sin.  christians today are living unaware not knowing what is coming not know the day draws near. so busy with religious programs they have no time to seek God no time to pray no time to study the word of God and get to know the God of the Bible. they spent little or no time at all reading the Bible they Trust in the pastor more than God Himself. and they go about being destroyed for lack of knowledge.

JEREMIAH 17:5 Thus saith the Lord; cursed be the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm and whose heart departs from the Lord.

PSALMS 118:8  It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

This message is a warning to false teachers and false prophet's who prophesy lies to people

This message is a warning to all people read your Bible know the word of God  and test all things

1 JOHN 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 TIMOTHY 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

This message is a warning to REPENT and come out from among them

REVELATION 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

REVELATION 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

                                                     ENCOURAGEMENT & WARNING
EPHESIANS 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

EPHESIANS 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

EPHESIANS 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

EPHESIANS 5:14 Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

TITUS 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

TITUS 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

1 TIMOTHY 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

1 TIMOTHY 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

1 TIMOTHY 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

JUDE 1:21 Keep yourselves in the Love of God, looking for the Mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto Eternal Life.

PHILLIPIANS 2:9-11) 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name. 10 That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.

1 PETER 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

ISAIAH 42:8 I am the Lord: that is My Name: and My Glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

ISAIAH 13:9-11
9 Behold, the Day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of Heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

REVELATION 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Blindly they ignore the word of Truth, decieving and being decieved, exalting self , exalting ministries & titles worshiping their idols, their hands labour to be rich, blindly they go about falling into a ditch taking whole congergations with them. prophesying lies speaking many visions none are from the Lord. for such a time as this they say, but they prepare no one in these last days not even t...hem selves, blind guides they are false prophets with false hopes false dreams and visions. worship they say worship they do not Honour Me their worship is nothing more than lip service their hearts are far From Me in vain do they worship Me teaching commandments of men, wells without water they are unwilling to repent, wells without water they have head knowledge only a form of Godliness denying the power thereof, wolves in sheeps clothing devouring My flock. fair speeches smooth talk seducers with mens admiration in mind they flatter with words and fancy titles exalting themselves as gods. He who has an ear to hear come out from among them repent and do the first works return to your first Love.

American pastors have metamorphosed into a company of shop keepers, and the shops they keep are churches. they are preoccupied with shop keeper's concerns - how to keep customers happy, how to lure customers away from competitors down the street, how to package the goods so that customers will lay out more money. some of them are very good shop keepers they attract a lot of customers, pull in grea...t sums of money develop splendid reputations, yet its still shop keeping; religious shopkeeping. the cause of erosion in the church has been the drift of pastors from the Bold proclamation of God's word. the ground of conviction has slipped from beneath their feet, as a result their congergations remain famished. pastors have abandoned their post and their calling but they continue to appear in pulpits on sundays. they have gone whoring after other gods.

FORGIVE ONE ANOTHER

This is for me and its for you. christian or prodical sons & daughters , preachers teachers, evangelists, watchmen, deacon, bishop, apostle, prophet whatever your title.
Have you forgiven those who have betrayed you? have you forgiven all who have offended you? have you forgiven the church that hurt you? have you forgiven that person who you asked for help and they refused you? I encourage you to search you heart and see and test the water so to speak, its easy to say we have forgiven but have we really?
Matthew 6:14-15) 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 18:21-35) 21 Then came Peter to Him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. 23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. 24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. 28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. 29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. 30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. 31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. 32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me. 33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? 34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

colossians 3:12-14) 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering. 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

when Jesus hung on the cross He said Father forgive them for they know not what they do. we need to find it in our hearts today to forgive whoever has wronged us today or in the past. the person who wronged you may not even care if you forgive them but you need to put it in the Hands of God right now so you can get up out of that bed of depression and walk in the Joy of the Lord. unforgiveness grudges bitterness and depression, regrets and past failures, is a prison that you dont want to be in, it will keep you longer than you want to stay. repent and hand it over to God. your not gonna be free unless you repent.

a Pastor I know wrote something asking friends have you forgiven the Judas in your Life ?
so I ask you the same question today have you forgiven the Judas in you life?

pay close attention to what these scriptures are saying its written already in this blog but I have selected 4 scriptures I want you to pay close attention to.Matthew 18:32-35

CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE

Playing with sin is not a game the wages have not changed the wages of sin is death.

ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

ROMANS 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

ROMANS 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

God is not a game STOP playing with God, stop stradeling the fence .

REVELATION 3:15-16) 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

JAMES 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

You cannot have one foot in God's Kingdom and one foot in the world.

MATTHEW 15:8-9) 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

MATTHEW 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

ROMANS 12:1-2
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

MATTHEW 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

1 CORINTHIANS 5:9-13) 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators.10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18) 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Ephesians 5:3-18) 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints. 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8  For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light. 9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise. 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. 18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit.

JOSUHUA 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Philippians 2:9-11) 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a Name which is above every name. 10 That at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

REVELATION 2:4-5) 4  Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

REVELATIONS 18:1-24
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. 7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning. 10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more. 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble.
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. 15  The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off. 18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! 19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. 20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her. 21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. 22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

JEREMIAH 25:29  For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.
JEREMIAH 25:30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
JEREMIAH 25:31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord. (Revelation 14:20)

REVELATION 16:13-14) 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
JEREMIAH 25:33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. (Revelation 6:4)
REVELATION 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

EZEKIEL 33:2-7) 2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman. 3  If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people. 4  Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

REVELATION 8:10-13
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. 11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. 12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

REVELATION 9:1-3
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

PSALMS 105:32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

ZEPHANIAH 1:14-18) 14 The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. 15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness. 16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. 17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

OBADIAH 1:15 For the day of the Lord is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head. (Galatians 6:7-8)

Galatians 6:7-8) 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Revelations 16:1-21) And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Matthew 6:19-21 message

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.

Choose wisely what you treasure, what you consider valuable or precious .Dont place your happiness in the temporary treasures on earth
things materials money technology etc. etc. such things can be stolen
they are only useful for temporary enjoyment. if you place you happiness in worldly treasure you will always be empty searching for the next best thing. earthly treasure we should not count to be most valuable or most servicable to us. we must not covet these things grasping at more and more of them.
the things on earth that we sometime look to as treasure is liable to loss and decay. everything worldly withers away. riches clothing shoes cars etc.. etc.. thieves break through to steal they will be aiming at the house where treasure is laid up.

MATTHEW 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
MATTHEW 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Here we are given counsel to lay up treasures that cannot wither fade or be stolen away.Treasures of Eternal purpose and worth making Eternal investments. Treasures in Heaven are an inheritance incorruptible.
by actively setting our focus and efforts on doing things that store up treasures in Heaven we will focus less on acquiring and hoarding earthly treasures.
our hearts the core of who we are actually bonds with whatever we treasure
a treasure is something we consider precious or valuable.
the heart will always follow whatever is most valued and treasured.
Treasures on earth are not worthy to be compared to treasures in Heaven.
when the Greatest treasure and value of our heart is Christ His word and our relationship with Him then our pursuit of His Kingdom and Righteousness becomes the determining factor in our decisions our behaviour and our lifestyle.

whatever has our focus has us. what goes into our mind comes out in our actions.

this may sound funny to some of you, but while I was studying these scriptures I took a break and just sat there for a few minutes thinking about things we call or consider worldly treasures and thinking about Heavenly treasures.  and I begin to think about a dog and how there are many toys for dogs and how some dogs have big yards some have small yards to play in and what struck me was no matter how big the yard or how many toys a dog has, the dogs greatest joy and treasure is its time spent with its master.

in todays world we have so many distractions all the technology ipads iphones tablets internet and the list goes on. and to many times we tend to place our joy and happiness in treasuring temporary things.

i want to challenge everyone who reads this to examine your heart and life, and reflect back to that day when you got saved the joy that filled your heart and how great a treasure Christ was to you. how much you treasured talking to Him reading His word and praising and worshiping Him and fellowshipping with His childeren. and answer yourself honeslty is the Joy still there like it once was. and if not what changed.

the Lord is the Joy of our strength. and when we begin to seek laying up in store for ourselves treasures on earth we tend to place our focus on temporary thing and slowly we begin to place our joy in things and when we do that we become spiritualy weak and dry and easily become weary.

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Don't try to have 1 foot in God's kingdom and 1 foot in the world. You will hurt yourself!
Half measures wont do. half obedience is disobedience.

Revelations 3:15-20) 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Revelations 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Romans 12:1-2) 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Matthew 6:33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 7:13-14) 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

FOLLOWING JESUS

Luke 9:23   And He said to them all, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

Denying self and taking up our cross means something has to be crucified.
our flesh disowning and disreguarding turning away from personal interests & enjoyments.
selfish desires, selfish pursuits, Losing the lifestyle we once knew.
Losing all that defines the old man. denying self will cost us everything we lose our right
to live as we choose. popularity, letting go of earthly possessions and focusing on treasures in Heaven

Taking up our cross - the cross was a symbol of suffering, humility, death and sacrifice
we cannot carry a cross without suffering.

Luke 14:28-31) 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 29  Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him. 30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. 31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?

2 Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

we need to study to show ourself approved, and count the cost to Follow Jesus
the  cost - self denial, taking up our cross , forsaking all to follow
knowing what we are taking up when we take up our cross
living a denied life and taking up our cross
we can expect suffering, we can expect to be hated, despised, persecuted we can expect opposition
we can expect people to say all manner of evil against us falsely for the Name sake of the Lord.
if we have studied to show ourselves approved and counted the cost we will know what to expect and always be on guard and when trouble comes it wont come as a suprise or shock to our faith because
we have counted the cost to follow we have studied to show ourselves approved we are prepared to be on guard and know what to expect.

The only True beauty comes from a life fully surrendered to Jesus Christ. where ourselves have died and gotten out of the way and Christ can be seen in us and through us. As it was said In John 3:30 He must increase and I must decrease. when we get in the way and we are pursuing the things our flesh wants to pursue His beauty is not seen in us or through us. Jesus extends this invitation to all wh...o will come after Him, Luke 9:23-25) 23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? the essence of the Gospel is becoming a living sacrifice for our King, following in His steps walking as He walked. and when we commit ourselves in pursuit of pleasing Him, nothing that we have is our own anymore. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20) 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. our time becomes His , our resources become His our money etc.. our plans change its not about us its all about Him. that He may be Glorified. daily we have a choice to deny ourselves our pursuits and plans and take up our cross and follow Jesus, His plans His will. often His will and His plans will stretch us and take us out of our comfort zone.

MATTHEW 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

The nature of wolves is to devour and destroy.

MATTHEW 10:17-23) 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19  But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. 21  And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.

In these scriptures the Lord has revealed to us He is sending us forth as sheep in the midst of wolves
again remember a wolves character is to devour and destroy, so we can expect wolves to attempt to devour and destroy us to fight against us.we can expect the wolves to hate us despise us persecute us.

in Matthew 10:17 Jesus tells us beware of men, men with the nature of wolves. professing men who have a form of Godliness and make show of religion they will scourge you in their synagogues.
wolves in our midst will attempt to devour and destroy us and persecute us . pay attention of what Jesus said the instructions He gave us ,  when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. Jesus warns us the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. bearing our cross we will suffer. Jesus has given us these warnings so that when these things come we wont be shocked or caught by suprise or caught unaware.
in Luke 21:16 He says it like this And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
Jesus reminds us in John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

PHILIPPIANS 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake.
2 TIMOTHY 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

All that will deny self take up their cross and Follow Jesus forsaking all to follow Him,
those that refuse to compromise those that stand on the word of God as the word of God the Living Truth. those that preach repentance and confront sin as being sin no fornicator drunkard or idolator shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven, those who preach these things those are the ones who will be persecuted despised hated rejected . those that confront homosexuality as being sin and abortion as being sin , those who command them to repent in the Name of Jesus, telling them to turn from sin or else they will perish and go to Hell. those who stand up Boldy and speak the Truth those are the ones who will be hated despised and persecuted, those who take up their cross are the one that the wolves will attempt to devour and destroy. so the question is have you prepared yourself have you counted the cost have you studied to show yourself approved are you willing to walk into persecution and bear your cross and suffer those things and stand and contend for the faith even to the point of death?

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
ACTS 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
ROMANS 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
1 PETER 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
2 TIMOTHY 2:12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.
1 PETER 4:12-16) 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you. 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
MATTHEW 5:10-12) 10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The word of God

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old...
