The heart is hardened through the deceitfulness of sin

The heart is hardened through the deceitfulness of sin

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

if its not dealt with the sin will produce more fruit of sin. and that hinders us in our ability to hear God's voice. Our accuracy to see is then darknened....

sin hardens our heart just like alloys harden gold. there is a process in refining gold
the first step is grinding it into powder and then mixing it with a substance called flux. then the mixture is placed in a furnance and melted by intense heat. the alloys and impurities rise to the surface then the impurities are removed making the gold purer .

God refines us with afflictions, trials, and tribulations, the of which separates impurities from our heart such as pride , unforgiveness, strife, envy, jealousy etc.. sin easily hides where there is no heat of trials and afflictions.

you cant see the impurties in gold before it is put in fire its after the fire that you see the impurities in gold. things that are hidden to us are visible to God, when the fire of trials hit us thats when our impurities surface. there is purpose in every trial we face.
for gold to be refined it is first grinded into powder and placed in a furnace with intense heat. here are some scriptures on my heart today

Isaiah 48:10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

1 peter 1:6-7
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ

our richest times are right in the middle of our hardest times of trials

God wants to "drive " out sin in every form and function, and He desires His people to be zealous with the same plans and purpose that He has.

The purging fire brings us under God's correction and it is the leadership of the Holy Spirit which guides us into all Truth. We are then sanctified in the Truth, for His Word is Truth.

JOHN 15:2 Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

sometimes there are hidden things in our hearts that we cant see. sometimes we develop wrong motives and mind sets and we need to be purged.

the word "purge" conveys a throwing up or vomiting of sin. Indeed, it is that which is internal which pollutes, not that which is on the outside.

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

your life in your hands will only become more and more sinful, eventually burning up like wood, hay, stubble.

but by losing your life in Christ, your life becomes eternally valuable.

Matthew 10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for My sake shall find it.

seasons

Yesterday as I was riding to a meeting , I was looking at all the trees and on this street I noticed all the leaves have fallen it was very windy yesterday and I noticed one tree still had this little brown leaf hanging on it was blowing in the wind but that leaf wouldn't fall. when I'm outside looking upon the beauty of God's creation, I look at things spiritually. and when I seen that tree with the one leaf holding on I thought of a few ways to look at it. one being that no matter how hard the wind blew and beat upon that leaf though it was shaken it did not fall and a couple scriptures came to mind ---> Matthew 7:24-25) 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Hebrews 12:25-29) 25 See that ye refuse not hi...m that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 for our God is a consuming fire.
The other way that I looked at the tree with one leaf was sometimes we stubbornly hold on to things that need to be let go of , and sometimes we hold on to fear of stepping out and doing what we know God is telling us to do. that one leaf was shaking in the strong gust's of wind and it would not fall, there are so many ways to look at this spiritually speaking. sometimes we go through storms and it looks like everything around us is falling but like that leaf we hold on . sometimes we have that one stubborn sin our life that we hold on to even when we should be letting go, and we endure the chastening of the Lord and go through the refining fire to shake it out of us. when all the leaves fall the tree looks bare then winter comes the snow covers the branches everything washed in white snow. spring comes and the tree looks beautiful again, those old leaves that have endured the seasons have to fall away in order for new seasons to come along . its like in John 15 Jesus said every branch in me that beareth not fruit He takes away and every branch that bears fruit He purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

never ignore the voice of God

never shut off or ignore the voice of God. His voice in your life is His written word, spend time each day listening to what the Lord has to say. God's voice in your life can also come through song through preaching and through those who God has placed in your life. never let your pride cause you to ignore or shut His voice of in your life. stay in the word and you will grow to recognize His voice more clearly in your life and you will be able to more clearly recognize and hear His voice through those God puts in your life to speak to you. ignoring God's voice is dangerous , the day you tell the Holy spirit no, is the day you turn the power off in your life. if you have already done that, the only way to turn the power back on in your life is to humble yourself now and repent. if you will hear His voice today harden not your heart. the enemy will try very hard to get you to run from God and turn your back on His people. the thief cometh to steal kill and to destroy. therefore receive instruction from the Living word of God and take heed to His words. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.
"When you have a low input of the Word, you're going to have a weak output of faith." The Word of God can cut in places we did not even know exist. When the Word cuts, don't try to put the pieces back together.

todays Message

Titus 2:11 For the Grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.
Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the Grace of God, and the gift by Grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Titus 3:4-5)   4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
1 Peter 5:12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true Grace of God wherein ye stand.
Luke 3:6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
1 Timothy 2:4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Titus 2:12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly, in this present world.
Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time pas...t, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:22-26
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Luke 6:43-45) 43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
2 CORINTHIANS 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
HOSEA 10:12-13
12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
13 Ye have plowed wickedness, ye have reaped iniquity; ye have eaten the fruit of lies: because thou didst trust in thy way, in the multitude of thy mighty men.
Acts 17:30-31
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.
Titus 2:13-15) 13 looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  14 who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Every chain begins with a link

Every chain begins with a link , if you give place to the devil and commit sin and let it go unrepented then you have built your first link. continuing in sin will add another link building a chain . the devil is out to get a foothold in our lives, the enemy needs a foothold before he can gain a stronghold. the longer you continue in sin the more links will be added to the chain forming chains of bondage. the devil is a deceiver who entices people to sin, his mission is to steal kill and destroy. each link of the chain represents some kind of unrepented sin, the first link that builds most chains is temptation 2nd deception 3rd confusion, which leads to a whole chain of lies. today there are many people bound in chains, even Christians. The good news is that The Lord Jesus Christ breaks every chain. if you are in bondage of any sort its because sin has built a chain in your life and continued unrepented sin has built links that formed a chain and the chain entangles you , holding you captive in bondage. The only way to get free is to come to Jesus confess and forsake your sins and trust in Him to break every chain. today is the day of salvation but you have to come to Jesus, you may sit in church every sunday and Wednesday you might have had several pastors and Christians praying for you, but you have to be willing to let go of those things that are holding you in bondage , otherwise the chain will just keep growing.   this is part of a message I am currently working on , it should be finished later this week

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
1 John 1:6-10) 6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Colossians 3:5-6) 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry
6 for which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience

Ephesians 4:21-32) 21 if so be that ye have heard Him, and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:  22  that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;  23  and be renewed in the spirit of your mind;  24  and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. 25  Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.  26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:  27 neither give place to the devil.  28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. 29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.  30  And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.  31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:  32 and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Reign means to have dominion or dwell, prevail or be predominant

obey means to obey one's passions, thus becoming enslaved by them

Romans 6:13-16) 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.  16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

John 8:12  Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

2 Corinthians 2:10-11) 10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;  11 lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Galatians 5:24-26) 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.  25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Galatians 6:7-10) 7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Matthew 15:18-20) 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

JAMES 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

2 Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Colossians 3:2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Get Focused on The Gospel

Get focused on the Gospel and what its all about . get focused on the commission to reach the Lost, time to get over yourself and your ministry. you wanna advertise something , GO and let your Light shine, leave the Ninety and nine just persons, and labour together with The Lord in His will. yes that means leaving your little ministry circle and stepping out of your comfort Zones.

The Gospel is serious , Today is the Day of Salvation . life is like a vapor if we could get ahold of that maybe then the Gospel would be taken serious and maybe then ministry's would get off their high horse and GO out into the world and reach the Lost.

Romans 10:14-18
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 and how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Luke 5:31-32) 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 18:10-14
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. 11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. 12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and see...keth that which is gone astray? 13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Luke 15:3-24) 3 And he spake this parable unto them, saying, 4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12 and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 and am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. 20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23 and bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24 for this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
