In these perilous times listen to the charge given to us according to the scriptures - 2 Timothy 4:1-5
I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
He finished the charge to us saying watch thou in all things endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
In these last times be mindful of and take heed to the warnings that were sent to us early we'll before these times came upon the world. False prophets will arise and deceive many. Take oil in your lamp study to show thyself approved. Fear not what flesh can do fear not what man can do be not afraid of their face or there words. Do not compromise God's holy word do not add to it or take away from it. Do not change God's message .
Saul feared the people and changed God's message he lost the anointing it was taken and given to David . Failure to follow specific instructions can be the worst kind of failure . Saul had a greater desire to please the people and it led him to disobey God's clear instructions, prioritizing popular opinion over divine command.
Whether they hear or not whether they reject or accept stand on God's word and His instructions if He has given you some specific instructions be sure to obey and not compromise for fear of the people or desire to please people. These perilous times we live in many have become motivational speakers and entertainers and their followers go about with no changes and have fallen deep into idol worship.
This year some in pulpits whether a ministry in a building street ministry or digital platforms if they refuse to humble themselves and repent there followers will witness God's judgment on them as the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul for his failure to follow God's instructions and his desire to please people so shall the spirit of the Lord depart from those who God has been dealing with but they keep ignoring conviction and filling that emptiness with religiousness being busy bodies in much and for to be seen now some of them have been scheming together plans to make merchandise of God's flock.
The spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and a evil spirit from the Lord troubled Saul. Read about it in 1 Samuel 16
1 Samuel 16:13-23
Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him.
And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.
Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.
And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me.
Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.
Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with the sheep.
And Jesse took an ass laden with bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them by David his son unto Saul.
And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer.
And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.
And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.
