forgive them that is your calling.

They did you wrong it hurt you caused you to be astonished now forgive them that is your calling. that person in their own heart knows how that if someone did to them what they are doing to you they would be very angered hostile hold a grudge etc.. our calling is to be different not to react as the world would. our greatest witness in those moments is not really what we can say but rather being a doer of what we've heard and that is to show forgiveness mercy and love even when the world says they don't deserve. the person who did wrong has made the judgment within themselves that if someone did it to them they know what they would do in retaliation and so that action example of forgiveness and continued love will witness to that person all the day long they'll wonder why they were shown mercy forgiveness and love when they themselves have determined within their self that they don't deserve when the world says punish them the believer should set the example forgive them extend mercy when the world says show no mercy
