We are living in some of the most greed filled times where people are lovers of self, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. We live in the times the word of God said would come , evil days where good is called evil and evil is called good. God speaks to us through His word , through His people and through the signs of the times.
The things going on in the world God is even speaking through all of that. And He is saying knowing the time now is high time to awake out of sleep for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed. the night is far spent , the day is at hand cast off the works of darkness , put on the armour of Light, walk circumspectly not as fools but as wise redeeming the time because the days are evil, wherefore be ye not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Take heed watch and pray , be sober and vigilant, these are days of times and laws changing, days where the enemy is trying to wear out the saints of God. Days of alarm of war these are days to sound the alarm set Thy trumpet to Thy mouth cry aloud and spare not. Pray without ceasing these are days of gross darkness , believe not every spirit but try them to see whether they be of God or not. Be a voice as John in the wilderness saying repent the kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance. Seek the Lord while He may be found.
We approach days that were prophesied that would come. Even days of a great out pouring of the spirit of the Lord upon all flesh, I'm afraid this final out pouring will come in the midst of some of the hardest times known to man kind. It is time for the church to rise up and walk in Jesus Name and go out and bid guests to the marriage. It is time we all get out of our comfort zones.
We are not here for us, their are many lost souls and it's time to get out and Go into all the world , the trenches, ghettos , projects , slums, we speak of the power of Christ do we really believe greater is He who is in us than he that is in the world? Jesus said we would be hated, persecuted and He said He would give us a mouth and wisdom which all of our adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
Jesus told us what to expect in the days to come, why should we try and save our own lives from what Jesus said will happen? He said there will be famines , pestilences etc.. Jesus said some would deliver us up to synagogues and into prison, and brother will betray brother the father the Son, and children rising up against parents and cause them to be put to death Jesus said we would be hated for His Name's sake.
Have you counted this cost? Jesus was beaten beyond recognition bruised scorned head crowned with thorns His side pierced nails in His hands nails in His feet for us and we are not greater than our Lord we will be hated, and suffer for Him , He said to rejoice when we are persecuted for great is our reward in Heaven. Are we ready for real persecutions? Are we ready to truly live by faith and be totally dependent on the Lord for provision of our every need?
Riches will not save in the day of wrath. They will cast their gold and silver in the streets it cannot save. You can store up this world's goods but in the coming days and times thieves will seek to break in to steal from the earthly treasure houses. How will those who have never suffered and gone without make it ? We must have an authentic whole hearted trust in the Lord.
