Some times like Peter , Satan desires to sift you as wheat . In Luke 22:31 Jesus said , Simon, Simon behold Satan has desired to have you, that He may sift you as wheat. Verse 32 Jesus said But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not: and when you are converted, strengthen your brethren.
In the book of Peter a warning sounds that we ought to take heed to daily . 1 peter 5:8 Be sober , be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour .
Encouragement after the warning.
1 peter 5:9-11) 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11 To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
