Understanding Titus 1:8

Titus 1:8 But a lover of hospitality,  a lover of good men sober, just, holy, temperate.

Just= blameless in character, upright, one who does right, straight true, a benefactor.

Holy= purity from defilement, careful of all duties toward God, sacredness,  pious, Godly, properly right.

Temperate= self-controlled, masterful, strong in a thing,  self-controlled in appetite
