Satan is good at dressing up the detours to appear as if you're taking the right path and making the right choices, satan is clever at hiding the consequence behind the detouring path frustration confusion loneliness fear regret failure shame guilt pain addiction etc.... satan dresses the detouring path to look hopeful to look like the solution to unhappiness and loneliness next thing ya know you're sitting at his table holding hands with him all in with the causes of spiritual death. the word of God warns be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion is out seeking whom he may devour. God said give no place to him resist the devil and he will flee from you . draw near to God and He will draw near to you He said cleanse your hands you sinners and purify your hearts you double minded . you cannot have on foot trying to walk with God and the other with the world you cannot serve two master either you will hate the one and love the other or else you will hold to the one and despise the other. psalms 119:9 says wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? ---> by taking heed thereto according to Your word. next verse says with my whole heart have I sought you : O let me not wander from Your commandments . Your word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so Jesus cam to give life and life abundantly but the thief came to steal kill and destroy .
