spiritual growth should continue daily there should be progress. if your growth has stopped or if you feel spiritually paralyzed spiritually frozen then there is a serious inward problem that has been ignored and neglected and when something like that is going on it becomes a prison cell that becomes darkened cold hard producing many bitter roots which then lead to bitter fruits. unforgiveness is a tormenting prison the more such things like that are fed the more they grow and the longer your bury the hurts the pain the offenses the guilt then the deeper those roots are going to grow making it feel impossible to escape its tormenting grips. the Good news is that when you honestly and thoroughly examine your heart and bring it all to The Lord confessing it and seeking His help to forgive the Lord will abundantly pardon He will cleanse and wash you from all unrighteousness breaking chains breaking old ways old mindsets healing past hurts setting you free that you may be free indeed walking in the newness of Life that Christ has ordained for us to walk in as new creations in Christ walking with Him laboring together with Him in His will .
