Proverbs 4:13-15

13) Take fast hold of instruction : for she is thy life.

14) Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.

15) Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it and pass away

Take fast hold - do it now without delay don't procrastinate it take fast hold be diligent to remain focused on what to hold embrace and maintain. 

keep he for she is thy life - guard what you have been given of the Lord what you've received of HIm , do not add to or take away from instruction wisdom and understanding

Enter not into the path of the wicked - avoid the influences , influencers , and the entertainers thereof lest you learn their ways , refuse to be enticed by the enticements thereof and don't entice yourself with the entertainment their of resist the works of the flesh the lust of the flesh the pride of life and love of money. avoid tables and conversations that persuade you other wise shake that dust off avoid the path of the wicked you know what is on that path and how it is not for you

stay the course narrow is the way which leads unto life. 

proverbs 24:21 

My son, fear thou the LORD and the king : and meddle not with them that are given to change .

Job 28:28
