Assumption is the flesh attempting to discern what the natural mind cannot comprehend. These things the natural mind cannot comprehend are spiritually discerned and the carnal mind will never discern nor comprehend but will always run with endless assumptions that bring about death for to be carnally minded is death ; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace . Because the carnal mind is enmity against God : for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
