The Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believes. Motivational speeches and speakers will give you a good feeling inspire you at the world's views of success and push you closer to laying up in store for yourselves treasures on earth where the focus and commitment of laying up in store for yourselves treasures in Heaven fades. To grab hold of more and more of world success . The exceeding high mountain speeches will lead you astray eventually. It's a slow fade for those who take the bait of satan.. A better job more money more of man's applause isn't salvational or transformational.  Many take after and cling to a best life now style  speech. Jesus said if any man will come after Me let him take up his cross deny himself and follow Him. Jesus said we'll be hated .

Philippians 1:29 says - for unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ , not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake.

Acts 14:22 declares - 22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

1 peter 2:21 declares - for even hereunto were ye called  because Christ also suffered for us leaving us an example  that ye should follow His steps.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you

The word of God speaks of a great falling away and there it speaks of Christian's falling away.

Some started well but have took to their own ways some misinformed by the many false prophets they listen to giving prophetic words that turn their attention to money and worldly gains and success.  Prophets who prophesy from their flesh and draw away disciples after themselves cherry picking talents and gifts that they covet leading astray drawing many from other churches to make themselves look good and try to hide their falsehoods. They'll flatter you left and right having you looking to the left and right and use slogans like what God is doing not man. But the truth is it's all man and flesh in their false prophetic movements. Strange fire it is.

Motivational speakers are similar to the prosperity gospel preachers having their sights zeroed in on earthly treasures.
