Understanding 2 Timothy 3:1-2

2 Timothy 3:1-2) 1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Key words from these two verses : last,shall come, lovers of their own selves, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient, unholy

last= with noun of time as the last day,  the last hour, last times of this age, last time.

Shall come = intend, be at hand,instant, to arrive, present, be at hand.

Lovers of their own selves = fond of self, selfish, self-centered.

Boasters= braggart,a boaster ,a wandering , vagrancy.

Proud= above other persons or things, arrogant, haughty,  conspicuous, often associated with those who despise God.

Blasphemers= in respect of men (mankind), a slanderer,  impious against God, words uttered against God and divine things, insulting, reviler,  railing.

Disobedient= unruly, unbelieving,  unwilling , polluted,  wicked,

Unholy= unpure, conformed to world,defiled , defilement. Wicked polluted,
