Following His steps

2 CORINTHIANS 5:15 And that He died for all that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves. but unto Him which died for them and rose again.

1 PETER  2:21 For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example that we should follow His steps.

1 JOHN 3:16 Hereby perceive we the Love of God, because He laid down His Life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the Brethern.

ROMANS 6:3-4) 3 Know you not that so many as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His Death? 4 Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as  Christ was raised up from the dead by the Glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life.

ROMANS 6:10-11) 10 For in that He died unto sin: but in that He lives, He lives unto God. 11 Likewise reckon you also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

GALATIANS 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the Faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

1 PETER 4:1-2) 1 Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

MATTHEW 20:25-28) 25 But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister
27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant. 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

LUKE 22:24-27) 24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. 25 And He said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve
27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

2 CORINTHIANS 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

GALATIANS 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
